Support Melissa's Fight Against Cancer

Hi there my name is Melissa. I have been putting off doing this as long as I could, I have tried to keep my situation as private as possible. I was recently diagnosed with stage 2 endometrial carcinoma (uterine cancer). I am a single parent to four children aged 17, 14 , 5 , 3. I am the only provider in our house. I need to take time off of work for treatment and lifesaving surgery, I was let go from my job as a contract nurse after my diagnosis was disclosed, being out of work I will not have any income coming in to keep my house and bills and kids afloat. My prognosis is good with the surgery and treatment. I never ask for help and shoulder everything on my own and try to help anyone i can , but I need help this time. Thank you for reading.
