Hello,

On December 15, 2023 Samara (affectionately known as Sam) was admitted to the hospital with renal failure. True to form, she continued to find strength and would even inject humor whenever possible to this scary and awful situation. Her husband Erick (known as Dub to art collectors and friends) has been at her side, along with family and loved ones, optimistic for an improvement in her health and a chance to return home. Unfortunately, her progression is slow with a prognosis that is uncertain. All of us that love her are grappling with this news, especially Erick, who has missed a lot of work while prioritizing her care.

Even with insurance, this has been an immense undertaking. We are raising funds to help with Sam's medical care and bills, as well as help at home and future care.
