Friends of mine

Hi friends! I am unexpectedly going into the hospital next week and I need your help. Some of you know that by September or so every year, I run out of sick time and other paid time off from work due to my disability. I'm super lucky that I work somewhere that supports the time I need off and that it doesn't reflect badly on me. But...I'm not getting paid. I'm going into 5 or so days off at a bit of a deficit already and my bills are going to start to pile up. I am covered for rent, which is a huge relief. I still need to pay utilities, phone, Life Alert, and others. I joked with my doctors about starting a GoFundMe for help and they fully encouraged it. So, here I am. I appreciate whatever you can do.

I will be laying in a hospital bed for a week and I'm sure at some point I'm going to reach my upper limit of Law and Order: SVU. If you have fun websites or podcasts to suggest, please send those my way, too.
