My name is Lupita and I’m seeking emergency assistance for me and my family of 6. We have been displaced from the Eaton fire and won’t be able to be cleared to go home until the next upcoming weeks. Miraculously our home is still standing but a lot of the surrounding homes/structures have been lost. It’s very devastating and overwhelming becauseI’m expecting my fourth baby in March (8 weeks) not knowing when we can go back home or not knowing the extent of smoke damage, as the fire is still not fully contained. At the moment we’re dealing with where I’ll rest my childrens head at night. I’m currently not working and my husband is doing what he can.  So if you could find it in your heart to help our family during this crisis. I would greatly appreciate it. Your support will help cover the unexpected cost of this event & get by  for the time being/ assist with other needs that might not be fully covered by other sources of aid, since it’s still not safe to return and it may be inhabitable for some time.
