EAT TRILL 2018

Donation protected

We are preparing for the third annual Eat Trill Festival. Eat Trill is a free, family-friendly, Music, Food, and Community festival in San Francisco dedicated to real people, real food, real music and real community. EAT TRILL will be held at Spark Social in San Francisco on Wednesday, July 4th from 11am-6pm.

In the past two years, we raised over $4,000 for the Homeless Youth Alliance and Support for Families. This year we are proud to partner with iPODER!  whose mission is to organize with Latino immigrant families and youth to put into practice people-powered solutions that are locally based, community led and environmentally just.

We're taking a different approach to fundraising by starting a Gofundme in which funds will go towards paying for the soccer field attached to Spark Social for use as a music and activity area. All remaining funds raised will go to supporting iPODER! in opening up their new office space on Folsom and 17th Street in the Mission.  Eat Trill does not make a profit from this event.

This will be our third year and it takes on an even more significant meaning with the changing landscape of San Francisco; specifically in and around Mission Bay. This brand new neighborhood is building up quickly with luxury condos and businesses aimed at a specific wealthy demographic. We see EAT TRILL as a way to make space for the working class, real people in this community. We will gather on the 4th of July to help create and spread a vision of what our community means to us, and to show that we belong here.

This campaign will go through July 4th so that we can raise the most amount of funds for iPODER! Your support will mean continued space for a nonprofit that serves our community, as well as a day for us to celebrate the true realness of San Francisco folks.

**All donations over $40 will receive an EAT TRILL T-SHIRT at the event.

**All donations over $100 will receive an EAT TRILL T-SHIRT and TOTE BAG. (Arrangements can be made if you do not make it to the event).

iPODER! programs include:

PUEBLOTE
The PUEBLOTE campaign utilizes grassroots organizing to gain and reclaim neighborhood assets like parks and affordable housing to meet the needs of existing low-income communities. We bring the knowledge and experience of neighborhood residents to community planning efforts!

Bicis del Pueblo
Bicis del Pueblo develops the bicycling skills and environmental justice awareness of low-income communities of color through bike-based workshops and community activities. Our “Convivios” or “bike builds” are a space where we practice cooperation, mutual aid, and shared learning. Maybe some of us have something to teach, maybe some of us have something to learn, but we all have something to share!
