Eastwood Elementary Run for Funds

The Eastwood Elementary PTA will be conducting our only annual fundraising event in May 2022.  It is called the “Run for Funds.” The fundraiser starts with the Fun Run for students on May 11th, and will conclude on May 25. This single fundraiser provides the PTA with funds for the following year.

 

P.T.A supported programs include: SOAR prizes, classroom supplies, teacher appreciation, parking lot assistance, emergency kits for each student, the library birthday book program, art start, music start, author study, playground supplies, and memory books (yearbooks). The PTA also funds events like art night, field day, science fair, STEAMfest (aka science night,) Cultural Celebration, Reflections art contest, red ribbon week, Rise and Shine Reading (Read-a-thon), and so much more!

 

Thanks to prior generosity, buddy benches, harmonic flowers and chimes were added to our playgrounds. In addition, the PTA paid for a science specialist for Eastwood from 2017 through 2020. Engineering and Technology education continues at Eastwood thanks to federal grant money.  

 

Eastwood Elementary PTA is a unit in good standing of Utah Congress of Parents and Teachers, Inc. (Utah PTA), which is a 501(c) 3 organization
