While on the football field playing his favorite sport, Easton sustained a very rare & severe injury to his brachial plexus- which is an injury to the nerves in his neck and shoulder that connect to the spinal cord. His C6 and C8 nerve roots are completely avulsed (torn away) from his spinal cord, resulting in paralysis of his left arm. Unfortunately his injury is a 1 in a million and worst case senerio for this type of injury. It will take multiple surgeries to give him back function of his left arm. There are only 2 doctors in the United States who specialize in this type of injury, and by a divine blessing one of them is located at the U of U. We would like to help the Beauregard family as they navigate these unexpected medical expenses with costs of surgery, therapy, traveling etc. You’ve got this Beau!!
