Easton Adkins Memorial

Easton Adkins, a ray of sunshine who most often wore a giant smile, loved fiercely with hugs remembered for days, and one who gave as good as he got, went home to be with his Heavenly Father on May 18th following a car accident. Easton’s love for Jesus showed through his daily life and in his talks with others. He had a way about him that just drew others to him and in turn he helped them to make connections with others, forming new relationships.
Easton was set to join YWAM (Youth with a Mission) this July and head to Hawaii to really begin his journey to study in ministry. He had a passion to serve God and bring the joy of knowing Him to others. His advice to fellow students at Campus Life was to know that “running from God is not worth it, and that Jesus is always waiting with open arms”.
We believe that through this tragedy, Easton has been able to serve God, share his story, and connect others. The faith shown and experienced by many during this time is a testament to the glory of God. Easton’s story is not finished, and now it’s our turn as a community to continue to share it and continue to spread the word of God.
We want to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers for Easton and his family! What amazing moments when hearts were touched, stories shared, and faith was on display during the community vigils for Easton. Our community has come out in spades to not only help support Easton’s family, but also other community members who could use a listening ear.
This memorial is to help Easton’s family with medical and final expenses. Any money raised after expenses are met will be used to help fund other young adults who are passionate in pursuing ministry. All money raised will be given to Easton’s parents.
