East Oakland Youth to Golden Gate Park Museum Day

Hi, my name is Adrianna Alvarez, and I am a former middle school OUSD arts educator and community organizer. I have 24 hours to raise $3,000 to provide my former students, colleagues, and school community the opportunity to explore the various educational and memorable opportunities that Golden Gate Park has to offer.
Fortunately, I have been able to support in getting access to the de Young museum as well as provide bus transportation. However, we would love to have the opportunity for our youth to experience the California Academy of Sciences and the Skystar Ferris wheel.
For many of our youth, this will be the first time they have been to Golden Gate Park despite being just across the bridge. This would be an opportunity for them to experience not just one but TWO, possibly even THREE amazing learning creative, scientific, and outdoor learning spaces.
I am deeply passionate about equitable and accessible creative, explorative, and outdoor experiences that are often limited due to barriers to transportation and funding. Please support by donating and sharing with friends and family so the school community I consider family can have a memorable summer!
