Hello, my name is Michael Spencer and I am the owner of East Neuk Outdoors in Cellardyke, Anstruther. East Neuk Outdoors is a small family run outdoor activity centre offering paddle boarding, kayaking, archery and axe throwing. My family and I have been built up the centre since taking it over in 2017, however in recent years the centre has struggled for bookings and groups.

I rent the land the centre is situated on from Fife Council. The centre has been fortunate to not have a rent increase for a number years, however at the end of this summer Fife Council increased the rent by 15%. Although not the best year, the centre can just accommodate the rent on a monthly basis. However, Fife Council has back dated the rent to 2024 (when the rent review was due) and the amount payable will leave the centre in significant financial difficulty. In the hope of trying to keep the centre alive and running I'm asking if you can help. Any funds raised will go directly to paying the back dated amount.
