Deaf Men's Retreat Bucket List Trip

Hi all! This is Kimberly, Jasan's wife. Anyone who has met or knows Jasan knows his love for the Lord, Jesus. Since long before we met, Deaf Men's Retreat have been Jasan's 'bread and butter'. He has attended faithfully each year and this group of men have helped him grow in his love for the Lord and for the Lord's people. Jasan has brought others along behind him.

Since Jasan's diagnosis of ALS in June of 2020, his ability to travel...and travel independently has greatly diminished. He was unable to attend last year, but thankfully his brothers in Christ connected by Zoom so that he could "feel" like he was there.

One of Jasan's biggest desires to go to this 3-day retreat this fall in NY, and I am wanting to make that happen for him. This will be a big trip for his body and we will need a lot of help to make it happen. Travel is about 8 hours from northern Maine, so we will plan on taking extra time to travel, as his body tolerates being in his chair all day. He will need at least 2-3 caregivers along for the trip as his needs are great. We will be staying in handicap-accessible hotel rooms along the trip and while at camp as there isn't housing to accommodate what his body needs to help him be comfortable. We will need space enough for the caregivers and for meals. We will need an adjustable hospital bed. Please pray about this endeavor. Any giving is appreciated and for His Glory.
