East Anglian Air Ambulance is a 365-day-a-year helicopter emergency medical service HEMS covering the four counties of East Anglia. We receive no regular direct government funding and need over 12 million pounds each year to continue our work. Since launching in 2000 we have attended over 20,000 lifesaving missions, touching many lives. Our crew comprises specialist pre-hospital doctors and critical-care paramedics, operating out of two state-of-the-art helicopters from our Norwich and Cambridge bases.
