Hi, my name is Brandon Baranak and I am reaching out and seeking assistance for Tom King.

Tom King and his family have recently lost their beloved son, Tommy King, to medical complications. We are seeking funds to help the family cover all funeral/memorial services and ease their financial burden during a time of great grief.

Thomas Michael “Tommy” King of Merrillville, IN, passed away on August 14th at the too young age of 21. He is survived by his mother Lynn King (nee Charleston), father Thomas B. King, stepmother Katie Garrett, stepsister Madison, and stepbrother Tyler, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and his beloved grandmother, Alice Charleston.

Tommy was preceded in death by his sister Emily Morgan Garrett King, his grandparents Ruth and Thomas King, and his grandfather Kenneth Charleston.

Tommy worked in landscaping with Utermark and Sons (truly his second family), which was always a reflection of his love of nature and the outdoors. Tommy’s true passion, however, was music and playing his guitar, and creating songs brought him immense joy and peace. He was beloved by many friends throughout his lifetime and was described as an amazing friend with an incredibly big heart. Tommy often lived each day to the fullest and showed a kindness and love towards family and friends that will never be forgotten. Tommy will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
