On June 17th Rebecca (Becky) Stoner passed away unexpectedly. Becky had been battling a plethora of life long health challenges. Starting with being diagnosed as type 1 diabetic at the young age of 7. She would later face dialysis, organ transplant, open heart surgery and most recently a broken femur that led to an infection in her knee. Despite all of this, Becky remained a sweet soul who loved her family and pets. Just when she seemed to be on the mend from her recent surgery, Becky became unresponsive and was unable to be revived. She was only 46 years old. This fund is being set up to help ease the financial burden on her mother, Theresa Stoner. Theresa was like a mom to my sisters and I for many years. We are hopeful to bring her some kind of comfort in the upcoming weeks and months. In any funds are left over after Becky's final expenses, the remaining funds will be donated to diabetes research.
