Our world was turned upside down on January 6th, when Eric learned that he has cancer. He had some sudden and extreme leg and back pain which we originally thought was being caused by kidney stones.

However, after lots of scans and labs, he was diagnosed with Stage 4 neuroendocrine carcinoma. It turns out the leg pain was being caused by cancer on his L5 vertebrae. It’s also in his liver, lymph nodes, and pelvis."
