Hello, my name is Caryn Keller. On Thursday, January 16, 2025, my sister-in-law, Christina "Tina" Keller Davis, passed away after a few months of battling Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), also known as "Lou Gehrig's disease."

Tina had been disabled for several years prior to her diagnosis, and she often struggled to make ends meet. Her three children just discovered that she could not afford life insurance and had no savings to cover her end-of-life expenses. While she did have a cemetery plot reserved for her, there is no money to pay for a casket, headstone, funeral service, burial, or other funeral-related expenses: a total cost of more than $9,000 for the most basic funeral package.

I'm humbly asking for the community's assistance to lay sweet Tina to rest and ease this overwhelming financial burden that's weighing heavily on my two nieces, nephew, and their spouses and children. Tina's rapid health decline and death have been devastating for them; worrying about where the money will come from, over the next several days, is just too much to bear.

Because of the financial hardship, a memorial service has not yet been scheduled.
