Easing the Burden: Sophia's Memorial Fund

On August 26th, Cortnee and John experienced every parent’s worst nightmare — the heartbreaking loss of their daughter, Sophia. Born prematurely at just 28 weeks, Sophia spent her precious days in the NICU, where she was deeply loved and cared for by her family. Though her time here was short, her impact on their lives will last forever. Rather than planning the baby shower for Sophia, the family is now faced with planning funeral and memorial services.

As they navigate this unimaginable grief, Cortnee, John, and their son Shylo are also faced with the unexpected financial burdens of funeral and memorial costs. In addition, Sophia’s NICU stay has left behind medical expenses.
