On November 8, 2024, just hours after I captured this fleeting moment of USMC boot camp graduation in a photograph, our world was shattered by tragedy. My identical triplet sons found themselves in a horrific head-on collision with a massive tractor-trailer, a devastating accident that claimed the life of their beloved father. The sudden void left in their lives is unimaginable—nothing could have prepared them for this heart-wrenching reality of navigating life without their dad’s guiding presence. As the days have passed, a relentless tide of bills has begun to roll in, suffocating them further as they struggle to cope with their loss. The weight of accumulating medical expenses has added an extensive layer of anxiety to their grief, turning what should be a time of mourning into a period filled with financial distress and uncertainty. While they endeavor to process their sorrow, the insurmountable strain of our circumstances feels increasingly overwhelming.
