Courtney Margaret (Drozdowski) — daughter, sister, significant other, and friend—went in for a routine MRI, never expecting the life-altering news that would follow. What started as an effort to understand her persistent headaches and chronic sinus infections quickly escalated into an emergency. The MRI revealed a large brain tumor spanning the width of her frontal and temporal lobes.

In a matter of days, Courtney was admitted to the hospital, suffered seizures, and had to undergo an urgent craniotomy. Now, we are anxiously awaiting the biopsy results—hoping for the best but preparing for whatever comes our way.

Through it all, Courtney has been everyone’s

favorite patient, cracking constant jokes, singing multiple songs, and fully embracing her status as the uber millennial she is. Even in the face of the unknown, her humor and resilience shine through.

Now, Courtney has a long road ahead. While the surgery was a success, recovery will take time, and the medical bills are already piling up. Between hospital stays, doctor visits, follow-up treatments, and time away from work, the financial burden is overwhelming.
