In 2019, Tommy was diagnosed with Lupus, an especially rare diagnosis for a man. For years he has suffered with a lack of kidney function and was fighting hard while waiting for a kidney. His hope was to get his transplant and truly be able to live his life with his family the way he wanted to. Unfortunately, he acquired pneumonia and his body could not fight any longer. Tom's suffering never stopped him from loving and supporting his family. He loved his wife and kids more than anything.
