Easing the Burden for Rachel and Michael's Family

On April 28, 2025 at 1:43am, the world lost a tiny, perfect soul far too soon. Our dear friend Rachel gave birth to her and Michael’s beautiful baby girl, Zoie Zara, who was born with her angel wings. Though she never took a breath, Zoie was deeply loved, deeply wanted, and will always be remembered.

There are no words for the pain of losing a child — especially one so anticipated, so cherished. What should have been a joyous celebration turned into an unimaginable heartbreak. Rachel, Michael, and their daughters Naya and Leia, have shown incredible strength, but this is the kind of grief no one should have to carry alone.

We are creating this fundraiser to help ease the unexpected burdens now placed on their family — including medical bills, funeral or memorial arrangements, and time away from work to begin the long process of healing. No parent plans for this. No one should have to worry about finances while mourning their child.
