Help Ease the Burden for Peter and Alice

My friend Peter from Boston has been an incredible dog dad, giving so much love and care to his pups over the years. He adopted Rex and Raina, two of my first foster puppies, more than 12 years ago. Rex, unfortunately, faced health challenges and passed away last March.

In June, Peter and Alice opened their hearts again and adopted Duke, a sweet rescue dog who brought so much joy to their lives. Sadly, Duke became gravely ill last week, possibly from leptospirosis, and spent days in the ER and ICU fighting for his life. Despite all efforts, Duke passed away this morning.

Peter, Alice, and Raina are heartbroken. They did everything possible to save Duke, just as they did for Rex, but the vet bills have now exceeded $20,000.
