Easing the Burden for Our Family's Recovery Journey

On Wednesday, March 25th, my family was involved in a serious accident.
My mother and my two younger siblings, Ben (7) and PresLynn (5), were involved in a devastating head-on collision caused by another driver. What should have been a normal day turned into one of the most traumatic nights our family has ever faced.
All three of them suffered serious injuries—especially my little brother and my mom—and the road ahead is going to be a long one.
My little sister, PresLynn, has multiple abrasions and a badly split and swollen tongue, making simple things like eating and talking incredibly difficult. My brother, Ben, has 10 staples in his head along with multiple abrasions and is dealing with a lot of pain in his head and face. Not to mention the trauma they are both dealing with from it all.
My mom has multiple bones broken in her arm, soft tissue damage in her leg, and underlying health issues that are preventing her from being able to have surgery on her arm at this time. This means she is facing not only physical pain, but also a long delay in proper treatment and recovery. She won’t be able to return to work at full capacity or resume her normal daily routine for quite some time.
This has put an unimaginable strain on her and our entire family. My mom, her fiancé, and their children are now trying to navigate life on a single income while also managing medical care, recovery, and the emotional toll this has taken on everyone.
We originally organized a meal train, and we are beyond grateful for the love and generosity that has already been shown. It has meant more than we can put into words. However, we are now running out of space to store everything and want to make sure nothing goes to waste!
At this point, we are asking for financial support to help them stay afloat during this incredibly difficult time. Funds will go toward daily living costs, household costs, bills, school tuition, and helping ease the burden while my mom heals and regains her strength.
If you are able to give, no matter how small, it would mean the world to our family. And if you’re unable to donate, sharing this with others is just as appreciated.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support, your kindness, and your prayers during this time. ❤️
