Our family has been through an incredibly difficult and unexpected series of events over the past several months, and we are asking for help to support my parents during this time.

In October, our family suffered a heartbreaking loss when my grandmother passed away unexpectedly. While helping handle the funeral arrangements and managing everything related to her home, my mom suffered a severe concussion that led to a seizure. This injury immediately forced her out of work and began what has now become a long and difficult medical journey.

In December, doctors officially diagnosed her with a traumatic brain injury, and her recovery has been slow and unpredictable. Then in January, while we were on a family trip in Cape Coral, she experienced another grand mal seizure, which significantly set back her progress.

Because of these seizures, my mom has now lost her driver’s license and her ability to work for the time being. She is nearing the end of her medical leave from the state, but she is still far from fully recovered and unable to return to work, even part-time.

This situation has created an overwhelming financial strain for my parents. My dad started his own business last year, and now he is working two full-time jobs just to try to keep up with their bills while also supporting my mom through her recovery.

Anyone who knows my parents knows they are incredibly hardworking people who would never ask for help unless it was truly needed. Right now, they are facing circumstances completely outside of their control, and we want to do everything we can to help ease the burden during this incredibly difficult time.

The funds raised will go toward medical expenses, household bills, and daily living costs while my mom continues her recovery and my dad works tirelessly to keep everything afloat.
