Gerald Maxwell was more than a father—he was a steady, loving presence in the lives of his sons, Logan and Josh. His passing has left a deep and heartbreaking void that no family should have to face, especially not these two young men who have already endured so much loss in such a short time.

In 2024, Logan and Josh lost their mother. Just a year later, in May of 2025, they said goodbye to their grandmother. Now, with the passing of their father, they are navigating life without the three people who once formed the foundation of their world.

Josh is working two jobs, showing incredible strength and determination as he does his best to keep moving forward, while both brothers cope with overwhelming grief and sudden responsibility. Logan is also trying to balance it all while attending college, working toward building a better future—while also working full time.

This fundraiser is to help pay for the funeral and services for Gerald, easing the financial burden during an already devastating time. It will allow Logan and Josh the space to focus on honoring their father’s life and processing their loss without the added stress of expenses.
