Koleson Meakin is a beautiful, brave 4-year-old who has spent his life fighting a rare metabolic disease with a strength far beyond his years. Through every challenge, Koleson showed courage, resilience, and a spirit that inspired everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

He is so deeply loved. To be a part of Koleson’s life is truly a blessing and an honor. In the short time I have known the Meakin family, it is impossible not to see how brightly their love shines. Their strength, devotion, and unwavering love for their son are incredibly moving and inspiring.

At this time, Koleson’s parents are stepping away from work to be fully present with their son during his final days. Their only focus right now is surrounding Koleson with love, comfort, and peace.
