Many of you may be aware that our mate and work colleague Anthony Allwell has struggled with health problems over many years. This year Anthony had the amazing news that he was to receive a kidney and pancreas transplant which would pretty much cure his ills. He received the life changing transplant in May and was doing really well.

Then, due to a series of one in a million unfortunate medical events and after collapsing at home, Anthony was flown back to Westmead Hospital in Sydney for emergency surgery last month. Sadly Anthony's donated organs had to be removed in an effort to save his life and he is now back on insulin and having to undergo hours of dialysis. On top of all this, Anthony has also lost his vision due to diabetes induced retina issues that cant be addressed under the current circumstances.

Katey has been by Anthony’s side during all of this. The emotional stress over the months and the financial strain of weeks of accommodation in Sydney and time off work is surely taking its toll.

We all know that Anthony and Katey would be too humble to ask for assistance. However, there is one way that most of us can help, and more importantly let them know we care.  That is to donate some dollars to help ease their financial strain during this extremely difficult time in Anthony and Katey's life.
