Easing the Burden: Chris Lopez Memorial Fund

Hello, my name is Cassandra, I'm the mother of Justin and Savannah Lopez.

On Feb 14th, my kids received the call that their Dad was in the hospital. Little did they know by Monday the 17th, their Dads health would decline due to a major stroke. Both Justin and Savannah faced a tough decision whether to keep their dad on life support or trust the Lord for his life. They chose to trust the Lord. After praying with him, they took him off life support. Chris was stable and breathing on his own. Justin stayed with him while he was moved to hospice care and two days later, on Feb 20th, Chris went home to be with the Lord. It was all unexpected and my kids were not prepared for what they faced this past week. They are grateful for the time they had with their Dad, even in his last days and hours. And there is peace in the midst of their grief.

Due to their Dad's unexpected passing, they are left with making funeral arrangements. To help lighten the burden, we are asking for help with funeral expenses. Along with this fundraiser, there are two Benefit Fundraisers: this Sunday Feb. 23rd and next Saturday, March 1st.
