Ansel was hit by a car last night, and suffered severe injuries to his leg. He was rushed to the vet, who advised that amputation or euthanization were the only options. I opted for the costly surgery to try and save my best friend. Unfortunately, Ansel did not make it through surgery and his heart stopped, which broke mine. I am asking for a little help to ease the unexpected costs and appreciate you taking the time to read this. Ansel was the best boy, who loved walks, adventures, and all the cuddles he could get. I will miss him with every part of me. I appreciate the thoughts.
