Easing Stephanie's Cancer Battle Burden
Donation protected
Hello all- Thank you for taking the time to read this- We are ‘ABC’ Amanda, Briana & Camilla, Stephanie’s daughters. We are helping my mom with setting this up to try and help ease some financial burden that was brought on unexpectedly with her recent diagnosis of endometrial cancer. A lot of recent health issues came on very sudden and have impacted my mom’s financial situation. Being deaf and on SSDI her budget is already quite strict. In July2024 a CT scan was done that showed a concerning mass which they decided to biopsy. It came back cancerous. She was sent to the Oklahoma Cancer Specialist Research Institute to see Dr. Street where they determined she in fact had 2 tumors inside her uterus one being benign and one showing clear cell carcinoma (very aggressive). My mother has also been diagnosed with Lynch Syndrome which is a genetic mutation that puts her at a high risk for developing several cancers. After having a full hysterectomy in September, the tumor board decided a round of treatments would be beneficial.
A month prior to finding any of this out my mother started a part time job at Walmart as a personal shopper for extra income and to be productive. A job she immediately fell in love with and everyone she worked with loved her just as much. With everything going on she has had take a tremendous amount of time off work causing more of a financial strain with all of the medical bills coming in. My mother doesn’t have supplemental insurance and the incoming medical bills owed, travel costs, and treatment costs, and medical bills that will continue to come in, things are adding up very quickly. We understand everyone has something going on they are dealing with in life and if you’re simply able to pray and share we’d appreciate that more than you know. Any help is greatly appreciated and would give a little comfort during this trying time not having to worry about as much financial stress or if she would be able to make treatment costs.
thank you all so very much
