A few weeks ago, my mom suffered a sudden, life-altering stroke.

One day everything was normal — the next, she was in emergency surgery and the ICU, fighting for her life. Watching someone you love go through that is something no family is ever prepared for.

She’s a fighter. After weeks in the hospital and days unable to speak, she’s finally beginning to recover and take her first steps forward. We’re incredibly thankful she’s still here — but the road ahead is long.

Between medical bills, rehabilitation, therapy, and lost income, the financial burden is quickly becoming overwhelming. The last thing my mom should have to worry about right now is money while she focuses on healing.
