Update 12/28: My mom was admitted to the hospital last night. The tumor has grown significantly from hemorrhaging inside the tumor itself causing severe pain. Still a lot of unknown answers as this is off script from original coarse. We are awaiting to hear what her doctors would like to do moving forward. Please keep Meadow in your thoughts and prayers.
Our family is humbly asking for support for our mother Meadow during her battle with cancer. Meadow is the pillar of our family she has two daughters and three grandsons and is a giving and loving person to everyone she meets. Bringing joy to so many friends, family and acquaintances. Meadows life has drastically been affected these past two months.
In November, Meadow went to the emergency room to get a lump assessed in her armpit that was causing significant pain. After further testing, doctors confirmed that her melanoma had returned and metastasized to a different area. She was diagnosed with Stage III metastatic melanoma cancer on November 21st, 2025.
Meadow began her first immunotherapy treatment on December 8th. Due to extreme pain and limited mobility in her arm, she has been unable to work for the past month. Her doctors have advised that it may be six months to a year before she is able to return to work. Possibly longer as the outcomes of said treatments are uncertain.
The current treatment plan is to monitor how she responds to immunotherapy and, in two to three months, consider surgery to remove the tumor. After recovering from surgery, she will continue with immunotherapy infusions.
During this time, Meadow is facing severe financial hardship. With no income and mounting living expenses. In addition unpaid medical bills throughout November when she was not eligible for OHP.
OHP just got approved on Dec 1st, 2025. Prior to this meadow had no insurance, and has outstanding bills with Summit Health, CORA and St Charles for the month of the November.
We are asking for your help to ease the financial burden Meadow is facing, so she can focus on her health, treatment, and recovery rather than the stress of mounting bills and the fear of losing her home.
At this time she needs your help. Any donation or share means more than words can express.
Thank you so much to each and every one of you who has shown so much compassion and love during this time and has already gone above and beyond.
Meadow is going to need continued support and love and we are so grateful for the community coming together!
Meadows is in need of $3000 monthly for living expenses and monthly bills.
