Liz passed away peacefully and pain free on Friday evening at UT Tyler hospital. She was too weak to make the final trip home. Pray for her children and grandchildren.

3/14/25 Update:

Liz has been placed on Hospice care as of today, our main priority is keeping her as happy and comfortable as possible at home family. With that being said, we are now placing all donations toward burial costs. Liz does not have life insurance so the financial burden will be placed solely the family. Any and all donations are very appreciated!!

Dear friends and family,

We come to you today with a heavy heart to share that Liz Garner has been bravely battling terminal cancer. She had started chemotherapy but has hit several roadblocks along the way. Lord willing, she may be able to attempt to continue chemo, but right now we are taking it one day at a time.

Unfortunately, the financial burden of medical bills and pending burial expenses has become overwhelming for the family. We humbly ask for your support to help ease this burden and allow Liz to spend this journey concentrating on healing and spending time with loved ones.

She and her late husband, Joe Garner, have been a helping hand to many, many people over the years. They have organized fundraising events for those in need several times, so she is more than deserving of help now that she is the one on the receiving end.
