***UPDATE***
It is devastating having to change from a medical burden fund for Kyle Babcock to a funeral fund to help ease his family’s way. I am asking for help to cover the funeral expenses plus the unexpected medical bills from this terrible loss.
We had high hopes for Kyle’s recovery but after 37 days in MICU, on a ventilator, he sadly lost his battle with COVID pneumonia.
His wife, Monica, had not been with her new company long and chose to resign to be able to remain at Kyle’s bedside those 37 days, cherishing every last moment.
Kyle is no longer suffering and was welcomed with open arms by our Heavenly Father on August 17, 2025.
I ask for continued prayers for Monica and all of Kyle’s family as they process this time of grief and healing. If able, please contribute any amount to help Monica with the financial burden she now faces.
My name is Kari and I’ve started this campaign to ease the burden of unexpected medical and living expenses for my friend, Kyle.
What started as a summer cold for the whole family it hit Kyle the hardest. Within days Kyle was admitted with Covid Pneumonia. We are on day 16 of Kyle being in the ICU, on a ventilator and paralytics. Currently the prognosis is poor. Doctors say his lungs are damaged to the point he may need a lung transplant. Time will tell if Kyle is able to recover enough without it. Where the road to recovery goes is dependent on his healing. Will it be rehabilitation at a facility, or ECMO and lung transplant, the doctors are unsure. His wife is his only care giver and has had to let one of her jobs go. She spends her time at Kyle’s beside being his rock and biggest cheerleader. With the loss of income and uncertainty care regarding his journey to recover, the financial strain is overwhelming.
Please consider blessing my friends with a monetary donation and in your prayers as they navigate this Kyle’s recovery.
