Easing Kasai's Path to Recovery
Donation protected
Kasai was born at just 24 weeks by emergency c-section. He spent some time at St. Vincents Hospital but his care team thought it was a better option to move him to the Children’s Hospital in Columbus back in February. Since February Mackenzie and Owen have been in Columbus to be by Kasais side. It has been a long journey to say the least, Kasai has been through several procedures and operations in his 9months here, such as having a shunt surgery, belly surgery, a g-tube placed and a few other procedures. With being by his side comes with not being able to work right now, Mackenzie tried to go back to work but Kasai did not like that idea and would act up whenever she was away. We are hoping within the next couple months Kasai is able to switch from cpap to nasal cannula and is able to come home! We are asking for some donations to help ease their stress with the transition home and life without drs and nurses being there 24/7 anything helps! There is a Facebook page to follow for updates: Kasais journey
