Hello,

My name is José, and I am writing this with a heavy heart after the sudden and heartbreaking loss of my wife, my partner, and my best friend of 33 years. Losing her has shattered my world. For more than three decades, she stood by my side through every joy, every struggle, and every chapter of our life together. She was my strength, my comfort, and the love of my life.

Together, we raised a beautiful family of four children—Kayla Kassandra, Kassandra Llamas, Debonne Ross, and Michael—as well as my stepson, Chavez, whom she loved as her own. She was the heart of our family, the one who kept us together, the one who always knew how to make our home feel warm, safe, and full of love.

Her passing has left a deep emptiness in our lives. While I am trying my best to stay strong for our children, learning to navigate life without her has been overwhelming—emotionally, physically, and financially. On top of the immense grief, I am facing unexpected expenses, including funeral costs, household bills, and the responsibilities we once shared.

I created this fundraiser to help ease some of these burdens as I adjust to this painful new reality. Any contribution—big or small—will make a meaningful difference and allow me the space and time to grieve without the added stress of mounting expenses.
