Hi, I'm Kelly, and my best friend who I call my sister is Jesica Salazar and this is all about her and FOR her. Jesica is a mom of 4 and was diagnosed with Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer a little over 5 1/2 years ago. She is a THRIVER but the financial burden of this diagnosis is GIGANTIC! Written in her own words "It's the ongoing treatments that never end. The scan, the labs, the co-pays. The medications that are LIVE-SAVING but LIFE-ALTERTING. The lost work, reduced hours, and the cost of simply being sick LONG-TERM! The choices between rest and productivity, health and income. Financial toxicity doesn't always show up as immediate crisis. Sometimes it waits - until the savings are gone, the margins are thin, and the weight becomes impossible to ignore"

Friends, family and maybe even strangers, please help me lift the financial burden that must exist to just keep my sister alive and thriving. These funds will help cover her life-saving medication, office visits, parking for those visits, scans, testing, etc...it truly is a long list.
