So often in life, we try to play by the book, follow the rules, do everything right. But the universe has other plans and deals us a devastating blow anyway. Our friend Galen Zink experienced this when he went to the doctor in January for pneumonia and left with a stage four cancer diagnosis. Despite not smoking a day in his life, he has Mucinous Adenocarcinoma in his lungs. To be frank, the prognosis is very grim, but Galen is currently battling on with rounds of chemotherapy.

Since cancer has affected almost all of us on one level or another, it should be no surprise to hear this disease is devastating not only physically and emotionally, but also financially. Anything you can contribute in this regard would help ease the burden for our friend during a time that is already scary and overwhelming. Galen has always been a strong person willing to help others without question. Now is our chance to return that kindness to him.
