I am reaching out to ask for support for my mom, a hardworking, self-employed salon owner who has spent years taking care of others. If you know her, you know how dedicated she is to her clients, many of whom have become close friends over the years. Her salon isn’t just her job; it is her passion and her livelihood.

Recently, she underwent a total knee replacement surgery, a necessary step to improve her long-term health and quality of life. While the surgery was successful, her recovery requires her to be off work for 6–8 weeks. As a self-employed small business owner, this time away from work means no income while still facing everyday expenses, medical costs, and business overhead.
