Hello, my name is Mike, and I’m a 63-year-old husband doing my best to face some of the hardest challenges life has ever thrown my way. I’m living with COPD and Metastatic Prostate Cancer, and every day is a battle physically, emotionally, and financially.

I’ve always been the kind of person who believed in working hard, taking care of my family, and never asking for help. But right now, I’ve reached a point where I have no choice but to reach out with an open heart.

My cancer has spread, and the medications that are keeping me going are incredibly expensive. I take them every single day, 365 days a year, and even with all the help and coverage I can get, the costs are crushing. These medications are not optional they’re what keep me alive. But as time goes on, the strain of paying for them has become more than I can manage.

To make things harder, COPD affects my breathing and energy, which limits how much I can do day-to-day. Between doctor visits, treatments, and medication refills, it’s been overwhelming trying to stay ahead of the bills. I’m doing everything I can, but the truth is I need help.

This GoFundMe isn’t just about paying bills; it’s about giving me a chance to keep fighting. To keep being here for the people I love. To have more time more good days with my family.
