He's 66 years of age and is going through a 6-hour back surgery to try to straighten his L2 to L7 on his spine to relieve some of the compressed nerves within. This will put him in the hospital for 5 days after surgery and require 3-6 months of recovery along with physical therapy. Any support will help him with a less stressful recovery this time.
