Cathy has been living with Stage 4 cancer for several years, facing it with steady strength and resilience. However, recent changes in her financial and emotional circumstances have made this journey significantly more challenging, and she is currently navigating an incredibly difficult season.
She is now responsible for covering her daily living expenses on her own. While Riverwest Church is covering her medical expenses during this time, a significant gap remains in her day-to-day stability. Our goal is to create a “circle of peace” for Cathy, easing her burden so she can focus entirely on her health and recovery without the immediate pressure of these financial weights.
To help steady her situation over the next 12 months, we have established a fundraising goal of $125,000.
Cathy is not someone who asks for help lightly, but this is a moment where the support of a caring community truly matters. We want to remind her that she is not alone. If you feel led to support her, whether through a financial contribution, sharing her story, or keeping her in your prayers, it would be deeply appreciated. Any contribution, no matter the amount, will make a meaningful difference.
