My name is Jaden Virnala, and on April 15, our family experienced an unimaginable loss when my dad tragically passed away in an accident.

He leaves behind his three daughters—myself, Emma, and Cora—and the love of his life, Angie. We are all heartbroken, along with the many friends and loved ones whose lives he touched.

My dad did not have life insurance, and because he and Angie were not legally married, she is unable to assist with many of the decisions that must now be made. In addition to grieving the loss of her partner, she is also facing the sudden loss of half of her household income.

Angie has been an integral part of my life. Ever since I met her, she has always been there for me with support, care, and kindness. I am so grateful for the role she has played in my life, and it means so much to me to be able to support her now, just as she has always supported me. Even in the midst of her own devastation, she continues to worry more about how others are doing than about herself—that’s simply who she is.

We are asking for support to help ease this burden during an already devastating time. Funds raised will go toward funeral expenses, basic living costs, and helping Angie maintain stability in the weeks and months ahead. Our hope is to give her the space to grieve without the immediate stress of financial uncertainty.
