Our dear friend Amy LeBlanc is facing an unimaginable loss after the untimely passing of her fiancé, Jamie Perry, on March 26th. As if this heartbreak was not enough, Amy had already been facing significant challenges after suffering a serious injury last year when she fell through the second-story deck at her previous townhome. The accident caused injuries to her foot and ankle, and she is still actively undergoing physical therapy and recovery, which ultimately initiated their move to a new, safer home.
In the midst of grieving such a heartbreaking tragedy, Amy is now left carrying the overwhelming financial responsibilities they once shared together.
Amy and Jamie had recently signed a one-year lease on a new townhome with the hope and anticipation that Jamie would soon be returning to steady work. Unfortunately, due to ongoing employment struggles over the past two years, Amy had already taken on the burden of supporting their expenses on her own. During that time, she accumulated significant debt while doing everything she could to keep them afloat.
Now, after Jamie’s passing, Amy is continuing to face these expenses alone, including rent, utilities, phone bills, car insurance, and other financial obligations that have become increasingly difficult to manage. At the same time, she is trying to navigate the emotional weight of losing the person she planned to build her life with while also fighting to maintain stability and keep up the overwhelming financial responsibilities she was ultimately left with.
We are asking for any support you may be able to give during this incredibly difficult time. No donation is too small, and every contribution will help ease the financial stress Amy is facing so she can focus on healing and processing this devastating loss and move from the place they shared to a smaller, more manageable space.
Our goal is to raise $15,000 to help Amy break the current lease, pay for the move and ease the ongoing financial burden she is currently facing, as well as provide her with some stability as she works through this devastating chapter of her life.
If you are unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser and keeping Amy in your thoughts and prayers would also mean so much.
Thank you all for your kindness, generosity, and support during this heartbreaking time.
