Hi, my name is Rebecca, and I’m starting this fundraiser for my friend Amanda Miller.

Amanda received the news that she has Stage 3 Triple-Negative breast cancer a few weeks ago. with no time wasted within that hour appointments were made with a surgeon and oncologist at Penn Medicine. She has since had those appointments along with a PET scan and mri with news that, thankfully, the cancer has not spread beyond her lymph nodes.

She will be starting chemo for 12 weeks locally under the direction of her drs at Penn followed by surgery and radiation. As she prepares for treatment, we want to help ease some of the financial pressure that comes with it.
Amanda resides in Throop with her 6-year-old daughter, Audrey. With chemo ahead, there’s a lot of uncertainty about how treatment will affect her ability to work and manage everyday expenses, as she works 16 hour shifts in healthcare with lifting/bending etc.. The goal is to hopefully let Amanda be home for those 12 weeks of chemo to rest and focus on kicking this cancers ass!

We’re raising money to help cover:
-Rent
-Utilities and other monthly bills
-Travel expenses to and from Penn Medicine
-Basic living expenses during treatment

*The goal is simple — to give Amanda one less thing to worry about while she focuses on her health and her daughter.
Any donation, no matter the amount, is appreciated. If you’re not able to give, a quick share of the fundraiser would also mean a lot along with prayers for healing ❤️
Thank you for your support.

I would like to add how self breast examination and advocating for yourself is so important. Amanda felt a lump in 2024 and knew something was wrong and went for the mammogram and got diagnosed with fibrocystic cysts, no further testing was done. Fast forward to late 2025 the pain was getting worse and started to refer to her underarm so Amanda went back for another mammogram and then biopsy which confirmed the cancer. So when your gut is telling you something is wrong listen to that voice. It can just save your life.
