A few months ago I got let go from my job and I rehired after a couple months of unemployment but as part time. I've been looking for other work but nothing has been happening. So I'm without work provided insurance

I need a root canal. I decided to pay for the dental insurance on my own.. $60 a month bc it makes the root canal cheaper. Without insurance, root canal is $3k... with insurance its $650. The crown will be $200..

Originally i tried to raise the money thru streaming and selling stuff but I've raised enough to pay for a couple months of insurance.. I appreciate the help that I've gotten thru that because I was able to pay for the dental insurance for a couple of months but originally I didn't want to have to beg for money. Here I am sucking up my pride and begging for help.

Doing this is hard for me bc I've always been independent but life is expensive. I tried to apply for medi-cal but I guess I "make too much", which is crazy.. I'm only make 2k a month and my rent is more than half of that, plus gas, food, bills, etc

But the state says I make too much... so I can get affordable insurance
