Please help cover vet costs for a rescue cat who was found starving on the street. I am posting this GoFundMe to help my friend Dominic, a senior on a fixed income, who opened his heart and home to Grayce, a sweet older cat found neglected and starving by a friend’s daughter in Marin. The friend and her family took Grayce into their home as they searched for a permanent home for her. When Dominic brought Grayce into his home, she weighed less than a kitten would. Aside from malnutrition, she was suffering from a thyroid issue, and as the vet discovered, a kidney infection for which she began treatment. Dominic fell in love with Grayce, who started her slow journey to recovery in his home. For all of us involved in the circle of friends who rallied to give Grayce a new lease on life, we were devastated when Grayce succumbed to a blood clot and passed away last week with Dominic by her side. As Dominic and all of us who knew Grayce during her last months grieve for her sweet soul, the payment for the various vet visits is quickly coming due. Please help in any way you can to lessen the financial burden at this time so Grayce and those who loved her can be at peace.
