Help Ease the Tariff Burden on TDDUP.

Hello TDDUP Backers and Supporters of all kinds!

This page has been created at the suggestion of a number of Til Death Do Us Part Backers who expressed an interest in helping offset the unexpected cost of the new tariffs placed on board games coming into the country from China. Board games have never before been subject to tariffs.

As you know, that has changed. As has the cost of most incoming products.

If the current precedent of honoring the tariff rate that is in place when the ship sets sail (20%), that would put my tariff bill up from $0 to just over $10,000. Going by the current President's history, however, he's never really been much for standing by precedent, so who knows where the pricetag could end up.

As I mentioned in my last update, I'm not officially asking my backers to pay any more for their game than I already did, so if you're here - it probably means that you want to help out regardless, and I'm very grateful for that, and for your ongoing support on this whole journey! I'm prepared to foot the entire tab myself, but if I was able to cover half of the bill here - that would go a long way to easing the burn.

BUT if it doesn't happen - NOTHING has changed. You're still in the same spot as always: "on the very cusp of getting your game and playing it" already!! With no further hurdles in the way.

For ALL OF YOU, whether you suggested assisting with the tariff issue or not, and whether you ultimately decide to contribute to the tariff tab or not, I offer my continued gratitude for all of the positive energy and words of support you've offered up along the way.

This may be my first Kickstarter campaign, so I'm speaking from limited experience...but I can't imagine a group of backers better than this group of depraved game players has been. Your patience along the way has kept me from ending up with ulcers. And for that and more, I thank you.
