Hey friends,
We’re reaching out because we’re facing one of the toughest challenges of our lives, and we need your support.
Nearly two months ago, I was placed on strict bed rest after losing most of my amniotic fluid. Doctors didn’t think baby Judah had much of a chance, but by the miraculous hand of God and to the surprise of the doctors, he’s still hanging on. Because of all this, my husband Josh had to quit work to come home and help me with the day to day. Since then, about three weeks ago, I began bleeding and went to the local ER. After looking at me, they immediately sent me to TriStar Centennial Women’s Hospital to be assessed and treated. I’ve been here since then and I’ll be staying here for at least the next five weeks with the goal of keeping “Jude” in the womb for as long as possible. Every day increases his chances of survival. No matter how he’s delivered, whether by emergency C-section (due to bleeding) or naturally, he’ll likely be facing a lengthy stay in the NICU.
The Strain We’re Facing
After Josh quit his job and before I was hospitalized, He worked part-time through DoorDash and Spark. But now, he’s full-time Mr. Mom and our income has dropped dramatically. We’re living on just $30 to $100 a week of our own income, trying to sell anything we can, and to make things even harder, as of yesterday the only vehicle we have that fits our whole family is also breaking down.
While we’ve received several generous donations already, we’re still falling behind on bills and stressed to the max. Thankfully, at least Josh’s health insurance with his union will cover most of the medical costs through December 31.
We truly believe in the power of prayer. We’re asking God for protection over Judah, for my health, and for strength to get through this season. If you’re able, a donation of any size would help us cover basic expenses. You can donate on here, through Venmo, Apple Cash, PayPal, or Cash App. If you can’t donate, sharing our story with others can help us reach more people who might be able. Even a kind word, a meal, or a simple hug would mean the world to us right now in this insanely trying time.
We’ve seen God’s provision in so many ways already, and we’re holding onto faith that He will continue to make a way for us. Asking for help like this has frankly been humiliating, but we know that God has a plan for our family in this season. We’re in the thick of it but we trust in God that with His help and your support we’ll reach the other side stronger and more full of His love than ever before.
Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for your love, prayers, and generosity.
With love and faith,
Haley & the Adams Family
