Hi, my name is Kirsten, and I’m fundraising for my dad, Warren—one of the most humble, hardworking people I know.

In February 2025, our world shifted when my dad was diagnosed with Stage 3 Pancreatic Cancer. It was news no family ever wants to hear. Since then, he’s undergone the incredibly invasive Whipple surgery in March, finished a intense six-month chemotherapy regimen in November, and has now started 25 sessions of Radiation therapy to end in the middle of January.

Through it all, my dad has shown nothing but strength, quiet resilience, and a deeply rooted determination to keep going. But behind that strength is the very real weight of financial strain.

Even in retirement, my dad didn’t slow down—he took a job delivering flowers just to make ends meet. He’s always been the type to push through and never ask for help. But the toll of surgery and treatments has taken away his ability to work, and the bills haven’t stopped coming.

That’s why I’ve created this GoFundMe—to help ease the financial burden of his healing journey.

Funds will go toward:

• Medical expenses not fully covered by senior Pharmacare (including prescription meds, over-the-counter needs, and post-op care)

• Dental treatment, as chemotherapy and radiation is affecting his teeth and he doesn’t have great dental coverage

• Groceries and daily essentials while he's unable to work

• Monthly bills, which continue to pile up during this difficult time

Our goal is simple: to help my dad heal with as little stress as possible. He deserves that. Every bit of support helps lighten his load—whether it's a donation, a share, or simply kind words of encouragement.
